ஸ்ரீமந் மஹாபூதபுரே ஸ்ரீமத் கேசவ யஞ்வந:
காந்திமத்யாம் ப்ரஸூதாய யதிராஜாய மங்களம்

When mAmunigaL arrived at srIperumbUthUr, he proclaimed with great joy:

ithuvO perumbUthUr!
ingE piRanthO ethirAsar em idaraith thIrththAr!
ithuvO thAn thEngum porunal thirunagarikku oppAna
Ongu pugazhudaiya Ur!

This is srIperumbUthUr! yathirAja (king of mendicants) took birth in this divine town and removed our obstacles. The glories of this town is equal to that of AzhwAr thirunagari which is at the banks of thAmirabharaNi river and is the birth place of nammAzhwAr.

It is said that when mAmunigaL arrived at srIperumbUthUr, he first performed his morning anushtAnams at the lake near-by (where mAsi magam thIrthavAri happens). In memory of that incident, on panguni thirumUlam day, mAmunigaL  visits the maNdapam near that lake accompanied by vEdha pArAyaNam.

mAmunigaL  enjoys thirumanjanam, thirumaN kAppu sEvai with thiruppAvai and yathirAja vimsathi gOshti.

He then returns to srIperumbUthUr and stays for the whole day at yathirAja jIyar mutt.

In the evening he enjoys a puRappAdu (procession) around the temple and arrives at emperumAnAr sannidhi with rAmAnusa nURRanthAdhi gOshti.

mAmunigaL  is seated inside the maNdapam in front of emperumAnAr sannidhi facing srI rAmAnuja. thiruvArAdhanam is performed for Adhi kEsava perumAL, emperumAnAr and mAmunigaL together. thiruppallANdu, upadhEsa rathina mAlai and thiruvAimozhi nURRanthAdhi are recited. sARRumuRai is performed as well.

After that mAmunigaL performs mangaLAsAsanam inside the temple at emperumAnAr sannidhi and thAyAr sannidhi. yathirAja vimsathi is recited along during the mangaLAsAsanam.

Finally, he reaches his sannidhi and thus a wonderful day comes to an end.
