Today, in the morning, chUrNAbishEkam is celebrated as part of the 6th day uthsavam. First viswaksEna ArAdhanam is done and then chUrNam (mixture of turmeric powder, saffron, etc) is prepared. This chUrNam is applied on emperumAn, mAmunigaL and then distributed to everyone. As today is thirumUlam, mAmunigaL was also present for the entire uthsavam in the morning and witnessed the whole event. He also participates in the thirumanjanam later during the afternoon session.

• chakkarathAzhwAr puRappAdu for bali (offerings to dhEvathAs) around the town
• chUrNOthsavam - preparation of auspicious chUrNam and sprinkling the same on emperumAn/thAyArs 

• puRappAdu for Adhi kEsava perumAL in golden kEdayam around the town with thiru chantha viruththam gOshti.

• perumAL returns to mirror room. 
• iyal sARRumuRai in front of emperumAnAr at his sannidhi.

• Afternoon
• thirumanjanam for perumAL, thAyArs, sEnai mudhaliyAr, chakkarathAzhwAr and mAmunigaL.
• thiruppAvai, sthOthra pAtam gOshti and sARRumuRai.

• Evening
• mAmunigaL returns to his sannidhi.
• chakkarathAzhwAr puRappAdu for bali (offerings to dhEvathAs) around the town
• Adhi kEsava perumAL puRappAdu in yAnai (elephant) vAhanam with thiruvAsiriyam, periya thiruvanthAdhi, thirumAlai, thiruppaLLiyezhuchi, amalanAdhipirAn and kaNNinuN chiRu thAmbu gOshti (mudhalAyiram completion).
